Tulsi has the potential to cure any fever because of their very potent germicidal, fungicidal, anti- bacterial, antibiotic properties. According to Ayurveda, in the case of fever boil few leaves of tulsi with powdered cardamom in half a litre of water (ratio of both cardamom powder or boiled leaves is 1:0.3). Mix this decoction with sugar & milk. Sip it every 2 – 3 hrs. For a child this remedy is so good & safe.


Tulsi leaves are packed with antioxidants & some essential oils that produce eugenol, methyl eugenol & caryophyllene. These substances help the pancreatic beta cells that store & release insulin to function properly to beat diabetes.
